Teen Zone Connect
Coming Saturday, May 30, 2026
Teen Zone Connect is May 30, 2026!
Hey teens! Want to find out how to get plugged into your community? Join us for Teen Zone Connect, a day of job-seeking advice, real-life assistance, civic engagement ideas, boredom-busting clubs, freebies, and more!
Teen Zone Connect is designed to “connect” teens (like you) with local organizations that want to assist, educate, empower, and advocate for teens. There will be informational booths both inside and outside the library, where organizations will be sharing their teen-centered resources, job skills and adulting activities, freebies, handouts, and more. It’s free to attend, and nothing will be for sale.
Curious about the specifics? Well, look no further. Above is a (nearly final) draft of the handout with a map, schedule, and lists of our current partners & sponsors for the day, and below is a lot more details in a more universally accessible format.
LOCATION & TIMING
The event will be held downstairs on Saturday, May 30, 2026, from 10-2pm in the Coeur d’Alene Public Library’s Community Room and will spill out onto the grass between the library and McEuen Park.

WHILE SUPPLIES LAST
Check-in at the CDA Library Teen Zone table in the Community Room and receive a wristband and a blank swag bag (that you can decorate outside at the event). The wristbands will be used for thousands of dollars worth of donated door prizes that we’ll be giving away throughout the event, so don’t miss out! We’re sure that we’ll have enough wristbands, but we’re not sure whether we’ll have enough bags. It’s first come, first served. Get them before they’re gone!
We’ll have pizza available at noon, outside next to the snacks. One slice per person will only be available to everyone with a wristband (see above for how to get one).
We’ll also have a shaved ice truck, provided by Kona Ice, in the lower parking lot in front of City Hall. They should arrive at noon. One free shaved ice per person will only be available to everyone with a wristband (see above for how to get one).
